Eivind Reiten is a former Petroleum & Energy Minister of Norway. He is currently advising Norwegian and other governments regarding energy-related issues. Mr. Reiten was the CEO of Norsk Hydro and has chaired, or served on the Boards of, several European companies including Norske Skog ASA, AGR Group ASA and Stena AB. He was also a board member of Bank of Norway from 1991-1994. Mr. Reiten brings extensive industrial experience to SICP as its Chairman and Founding Partner.
Jonas Jonhede co-manages SICP’s investment strategy, origination and process. He has developed a successful track record of active value creation in public and private energy companies by working collaboratively with management teams over the last 8 years as an investor, senior executive and board member. Mr. Jonhede was most recently the CFO and Financial Director of a large scale FLNG joint venture in US, Middle East and East Africa backed by DSME Korea. Previously, he was responsible for managing energy and industrial investments at two leading boutique investment funds in London.
Mr. Jonhede was a Captain, Royal Swedish Navy and holds a BA (Honours) Finance Cum Laude, Richmond, the American University in London.
James Mills co-manages SICP’s investment strategy, origination, research and operational management. Mr. Mills is an experienced investor in the energy sector, previously managing an equity portfolio of primarily energy investments for Tudor Capital for the last decade. He was also responsible for energy-related special situation investments, which included private debt and equity transactions.
Mr. Mills has a MA (Honours) History, Edinburgh University and CFA 1999, IIMR 1997.
Duncan Clerkin oversees finance, operations, administration and compliance of SICP. He has gained specialised operational and financial management experience from his prior CFO and operational management roles at boutique and bulge bracket investment firms in the UK.
Mr. Clerkin is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and holds a BA (Honours) Economics, Essex University.
Alastair Stewart is a member of SICP’s investment team, responsible for investment analysis, due diligence, execution and monitoring. Mr. Stewart has over 10 years' direct investment experience, initially with Oxford Capital Partners, a growth capital and infrastructure investment firm, where he focused on technology, renewables and energy efficiency. He previously served as a member of the advisory panel of DECC’s Energy Entrepreneurs Fund.
Mr. Stewart holds a MEng (Honours) in Engineering Science from Magdalen College, University of Oxford. He is also a Chartered MCSI and CISI Diploma holder.
Benjamin Hubbard is a member of SICP’s investment team, responsible for investment and industry analysis and due diligence. He is a project engineer and has experience in deep water drilling technologies, reservoir modelling and economic analysis, field development recommendations, project finance modelling and contract negotiations.
Mr. Hubbard holds a MSc in Engineering and Technology Management and BSc Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Colorado School of Mines.
Austin (Grant) Jenkins supports both the Investment and Operations teams. He previously gained experience working at a bulge bracket investment bank in the UK.
Mr. Jenkins is a student of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and holds a B.Sc (Honours) in Economics and Finance from the University of Exeter.
Dr. Ing. Peter Stehle is an Industrial Adviser to SICP, based in Germany. From 1970 to 1980 he was Managing Director, Low Voltage Switchgear and Electronics, at Brown Boverie & Cie.. From 1980 to 1985 he was Chief Executive at DIEHL. From 1985 to 1990 he was an Executive Board Member at Daimler-AEG Group and from 1990 to 2005 he was a Managing Partner at Freudenberg Group, a diverse industrial group with over 30,000 employees worldwide.
Dr. Ing. Stehle received his Dipl.-Ing Mechanics from Technische Hochschule Aachen.
